The Mission of the Non-Bank Credit Organization "Caucasus-Credit" Limited Liability Company (short name: NBCO "Caucasus-Credit" LLC) is to provide on-demand financial and non-financial services to internally displaced persons, refugees and low-income individuals that enable improvement their economic self-reliance capabilities.
NBCO "Caucasus-Credit" LLC (hereinafter - "NBCO") was founded in June 2002 by the international humanitarian organization Danish Refugee Council and was registered with the state in September 2002. In October 2003, NBCO was issued an indefinite license by the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan allowing limited banking activities for granting loans in national and foreign currency. In October 2010, the international humanitarian organization Danish Refugee Council donated one hundred percent of its share in the charter capital to the national staff of the NBCO.
NBCO started its lending activities in December 2003 by providing the first wholesale loan to a micro-financial institution, in February-October 2004 it provided micro-loans to individuals and resumed micro-loan services for this product in December 2009. Continuing to provide financial services to micro-financial institutions along with micro-credit service to individuals is the strategic vision concept of BOKT
